The name in VE is close enough to assume that both are the same person.

Garin de Courceriers, who also appears in BA14 as Garin de Cortene, although he has been identified as Courceriers.

Guillaume de Chelle, who aslo appears in BA73.

In the two above blazons, it should be noted that rose was the generic name for a flower at this period and was represented by a cinquefoil or sextefoil.

765 Foucqrans de Torigny

Fouquerant de Toregny, who also appears in BA84.

In VE, Hugh Stanford-London's Montegny has been amended by Paul Adam-Even.


766 Paiens de Charnos

Payens de Chources, who in BA39, bears:

barry of twelve argent and gules an orle of martlets overall a canton sable

 

 

Patrice II de Chources, in BA38 & CP110, bears the same arms as Payens in No 766.
Patrick de Chaworth, who died in 1283, also bears these arms in D149 & E87

Pierre de Chources, in BA 37, bears barry of ten argent and gules a double headed eagle displayed sable.

 

 

Patrick de Chaworth, who died in 1258, bears in B56, barry of twelve argent and gules

 

 

There seems little doubt that the families of Chources and Chaworth were related.

Guillaume de Doucelles bears these arms in BA13.

Gilles de Doucelles, CP143 & WN500, bears barry of sixteen or and vert a lion rampant gules

WN is specific about the number of divisions.

 

In WN926, there is an identified coat, or a lion rampant barry of six vair and gules crowned sable, which has been tentatively identified as Doucelles
